A beautiful summer’s day in Congleton and in the park a group of unruly teenagers are spread across a grassy bank below the bandstand, the scraps of a picnic amongst them. Tesco bags, half eaten packets of crisps with their innards spilling out upon the grass, and various other bits of confectionary are lying abandoned within the circle. I sit upon the edge of this circle, enjoying the sun’s rays upon my skin, when suddenly a pleasant silence spreads across the group, I look around the group, the couples within our ranks in each other arms, the others sitting amiably looking out across the park, and I feel grateful and happy to have

I have just taken part in a WaG competition
Me and 2 friends set each other a challenge to submit something before bed tonight, i did quite well and drew on past happenings to write something, and was the 2nd to submit.
I quite like the new piece act.

And then after i had a brainwave to write something on a subject that annoys me, when it occurs.
So yes a flurry of activity after almost a year of nothing but mothballs.
Hope you all enjoy.

Maybe ill be able to attract some new watchers who arent people i know in real life....
Ya never know.
